Where is the Creative District in Anacortes?
The Anacortes Creative District is the core downtown area of Anacortes that is known as ‘Old Town’, which is primarily retail and commercial businesses along the main thoroughfare of Commercial Avenue. The District’s borders would generally be from Cap Sante Marina on the East side of town, to L Avenue on the West side, and 11th street on the South side all the way North to the water’s edge.
The Anacortes Creative District includes an Art Depot venue, library, multiple museums, brewery, Heart of Anacortes music venue, farmer’s market, Croatian cultural center, bookstores, maritime industry businesses, retail shops, restaurants, free outdoor concert series, first Friday art walks, and annual festivals and events.
